Board Eligible or Board Certified Internist (ACLS preferred) for 24/hr Hospitalist assignment. Responsibilities included rounding on 20-22 patients during the day (4-5 in the 10 bed ICU). Nightly call, 2-3 calls per night. Procedures: vent management, stress test monitoring, and scopes (plus but not required). All other high trauma is referred out.
