Ideal Qualifications - Internal Medicine trained, Hospitalist experience with substantial knowledge across medical subspecialties; 1 to 3 years leadership experience, 1 to 3 years administrative experience; sufficient understanding of UM/QM process, clinical confidence, ambition to grow the organization and tendency to enjoy new challenges and embrace medical innovation
Essential Duties - Responsible for clinical operations and all medical personnel within a designated region; improve clinical outcomes and member satisfaction; manage budget and risk drivers; develop and maintain strong provider relationships; round at the hospital, conduct conference calls with Case Managers to review patients and admit patients through the ER
