I want to be up front by saying this is a community of roughly 14,000 residents is located in Northwest North Dakota. The community does provide everything your family will need on a weekly basis. The schools are excellent, there are an abundance of great churches, and the economy is booming because of the oil industry and agriculture. The community offers flights to Denver, you can catch a direct flight into the Twin Cities by driving just 125 miles to Minot, Billings is located 326 miles to the east, Regina, is located just 3 hours, 40 minutes to the north.
In order to continue providing top-notch care to the patients of the region the hospital is transitioning from 87 beds to a Critical Access center. The hospital currently employs two General Surgeons and one part-time Orthopedic Surgeon. Administration is confident that the transition to Critical Access will not have a negative effect on the growth of the surgical practice. The last full-time Orthopedic Surgeon who practiced in the community earned more than $1 Million annually.
